You can add cream & sugar to your coffee or tea but unless you stir it up, it sinks to the bottom of the cup and just sits there. Without stirring go ahead and take a sip; it’s bitter. Shouldn’t be; it has added sweetness to it. That scenario is similar to your relationship with God.
You can say that you have Him in your heart but unless you stir Him up within you and spread Him out into the world, He will just sit inside you – dormant, waiting.
You cannot taste the goodness of life without stirring up God’s love.
You are the spoon. To stir it up you live it, you share it, you give it away to others.
Start stirring; you will be amazed at the fruitful taste you experience every day. The taste of hope, of compassion, of inspiration, of love for your fellow human. Go. Stir. Taste.
