The word “but” can be a dangerous word.
1 – sometimes it erases all that was said beforehand, 2 – it can show weakness & fear that you harbor inside, and 3 – it can produce negatives.

3 – it can produce negatives.
EXAMPLES:
e r a s e s:
I hear what you are saying but…you haven’t heard me.
f e a r:
I want to start my own home biz but…I am uncertain if I will be successful.
n e g a t i v e s:
I want to pursue my dreams but…I am not as good as everyone else in the field.
Be mindful of how you use your words. Choose them cautiously & purposefully. What message are you attempting to convey to your audience? Be intentional. Don’t leave a shadow of a doubt. Choose your words wisely. Be clear. Be concise. Be bold.
Mistakes will be made and unclear messages will be delivered. It’s OK. Apologize for mistakes. Clarify. Continue on. No one is perfect yet if each of us does our absolute best in everything we attempt, then we all will be better for it.
Be clear. Be concise. Be bold. No more “buts”.
PEACE,
