All any of us can do is “love ’em where they are”. I have “friends” whom I never hear from, yet let them have a crisis and they’re calling my phone. It’s not in me to be nasty or mean, especially to someone in a crisis. So, I will take the call, listen and offer advice, knowing this will be most likely the last time I speak with them – until their next crisis.
People come into and go out of our lives for various reasons, many reasons are out of our control. You can’t hold a grudge or be vengeful to everyone who leaves. Just let them go. Wish them well; bless, and release.
No need to unfriend or block or talk negatively about them on FB or to others in your mutual circles. No need to send harassing texts or call with emotional questions asking ‘why’. Let them go. They have to leave. Maybe they don’t even know why. And remember, not everyone makes the best choices all the time. You are NOT gonna mesh well with everyone on everything. It’s OK.
As long as you don’t harm people, you’re good. So be good and let them go. Love ’em where they are and let ’em go.
