Patience. It’s not one of my strong traits. But if something is important enough to you, you must be patient…and unrelenting. Unrelenting in putting yourself out there, doing what you must to achieve your desire.
Whether it’s business or love, you have to invest everything that you are to acquire or attain it. Don’t sell yourself short. Don’t succumb to the valleys or darkness or various speed bumps you encounter. Put EVERYTHING you are into it.
Beware of missing small joys in life along the way; calling a friend, watching your kids play, sitting and holding hands with someone special, cuddling your pets. Whatever is in your life, you must NOT ignore. If you do, they disappear and then when you acquire your desire you will have NO ONE and NOTHING to share it with which WILL CREATE regrets, sadness, and heartache all around.
Thru your travels, patience, and your unrelenting investment of everything you are, you will most likely experience several ups & downs and you may feel like giving up because it’s just too freaking difficult. But when you feel as if you have nothing left inside you, dig deeper – it’s there; I promise.
TRUTH: There are some who do this and don’t acquire their ultimate goal BUT thru it all they never lost sight of it, and because of that, they experienced and lived with joy. Then again, there are some who seem to get it all handed to them. Don’t compare yourself and your valleys & mountains to theirs. Keep going. Rest if you must but keep going.
Capture your joy. Daily. Weekly. Yearly. It’s yours. Go pursue it.
