Today is Easter Sunday, a day when Believers celebrate the resurrection of Christ, our Lord and Savior. This takes on many forms – church, time with family and loved ones, quiet time in reflection of ourselves and humanity, and many other forms. Don’t get too caught up in the celebrations that you lose sight of the reason. And don’t compare your time spent with that of another. No matter how you celebrate, know in your heart that Jesus died for us all and LIVES within each and every one of us in the form of the Holy Spirit. He is the Comforter, the Helper. Call on Him in times of need and sorrow but also, remember to thank Him daily. For even when you feel alone, you are not – He is with you. He loves you eternally. Go to Him. Take rest. Let Him guide and provide.
Yes, today we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ who died and rose again and is now seated at the right hand of the Father in heaven. My Lord, my Jesus. Amen.
