It seems that everyone wants to mask the pain instead of healing it.

  • Sad? You must be depressed. Take a pill.
  • Marriage messy? Pill, drugs, or drink it away.
  • Injury? Pill, drugs, alcohol
  • Broken heart? Get right back in there, replace, no time to recover.

It’s sad really.

I believe that we must feel to heal. We must “get to know” the discomfort to some degree. Understand WHY it’s here so you can work through it, hopefully not to see it again.

If all you do is mask the pain and discomfort, it becomes part of your life…part of you. It goes with you everywhere. It leaks out into all aspects of your being. The longer the pain is a part of you the harder it is to get rid of it. It becomes familiar, comfortable. You become fearful of the future without this part of you.

To move forward as the best you, you must FEEL the pain. In it, you will discover how to avoid and prevent it in the future.

This does not happen overnight. Be purposeful and diligent and persevere. Don’t allow pain and discomfort to change your beautiful you!

PEACE
